Blizzard announce 2012 Battle.net World Invitational, BlizzCon postponed until 2013

It was confirmed on Battle.net that Blizzard will not host their annual convention in 2012. Instead, the company's attention will be focused on their upcoming titles and the next edition of the Battle.net World Invitational. In October 2011, Anaheim hosted the Battle.net World Invitational that brought together some of the best StarCraft 2 players and World of WarCraft 3v3 arena teams. This year, the show is moving out of the United States and will travel to Asia. The announcement of the Bnet World Invitational comes with the news that there will be no BlizzCon held this year. The annual convention will not return until 2013 because of Blizzard's busy schedule, that includes three titles currently under development.
