Starcraft 2 BLOG #3: Suggestions and Bug Fixes
Posted by Lipton on March 9th, 2010 filed in StarCraft NewsThe Starcraft 2 Beta is in full motion with an almost constant 7000-8000 people online all the time. This means a lot of games, a lot of testing, and a few fixes that need to be made. Cameron 'fams' Carson comes to you with his latest blog, all about his feedback on the beta and a few fixes that need to be made so far.

"As promised, you can find a small replay pack HERE.
Now, in this blog, I would like to talk about some problems I personally think Battle.net 2.0 and SC2 possess.
-Overlords won’t hatch sometimes.
This is caused by Overlords stacking directly on top of your eggs, so when they try to hatch, they can’t float up, so they stay as eggs. Even after you moved your overlords however, it takes a little while for the eggs to hatch. I would preferably like this fixed, there is no real reason to have it in the game, as it just means I will set the rally point of my main a few feet from it, rather than having them spawn where they are.
As you can see the cocoon is 100% complete but does not hatch.
-Zerg upgrade times are too lengthy.
This could just be me, but I find it extremely slow going when I want to upgrade the attack of my mutas, and at the same time upgrade my main to T3 (So I can add broodlords to my army) and my T3 finishes well before my level 1 attack upgrade finishes. I then have to continue waiting, then once that finishes I can upgrade my spire, which also takes a rather long time. "
