Best of WCG Korea with English commentary, Jaedong lives another day

The results are in and as expected it will be Bisu, Stork and Jaedong going through to the global finals in Chengdu, China:

1. Bisu (Protoss)
2. Stork (Protoss)
3. Jaedong  (Zerg)
4. Luxury (Zerg)

The globals are more of a formality as far as Starcraft goes. Jaedong already expressed his confidence in Korea bringing home the gold, this is the strongest Korean lineup in years and Korea has never been in danger of losing the gold to any outsider. These players might as well go out and say they're going to take a massive dump on the face of every US player out there, it would still be quite the modest statement.

Best of WCG2009

Here are just a few of my favourite games:

Leta(T) vs MyDream(Z), Game 1. MyDream is an amateur player that sure gave Leta a run for his money in the series. For the pure "PLAYGUUU AAAAAAAERRHHHG"-esque commentary check out the original Korean vod.

Fantasy(T) vs Kal(P), Game 3. Crazy back and forth action, intense final game. Again for the original commentary watch the korean vod.

Jaedong back in business!

It looked like Jaedong might've been retreating from the scene for a while, but it has now been confirmed that Jaedong and his team Hwaseung Oz have been able to come to terms on a contract and Jaedong will be playing again in the next season! Great news for the Starcraft scene.

Details of the new contract including his salary are not yet available.
